You will be busy with all the activities …
A portal to the Blue Ridge Georgia Mountains, just north of the Aska Adventure Area, home of the Toccoa River, Blue Ridge is known for amazing mountain views and exquisite lakes. Part of the Appalachians, the Blue Ridge mountain range was aptly called for the bluish color that is most apparent when observed from a distance. Terrific for trekking, unwinding or just enjoying the peacefulness, the mountains are a pleasure for anybody interested in a tranquil getaway.
So what are things to do in Blue Ridge GA?
The area offers wonderful activities for families as well as to individuals. If your goal is just a day of shopping, visiting great restaurants or participate in the many Blue Ridge area activities such as hiking, water sports, fishing, camping – Blue Ridge GA is the place to visit.
Horse riding, many festivals (especially in the Fall), zip lining, shopping, wine tasting, fine dining, tubing, river activities, fishing and gem mining are just a few I can think of off hand. Hiking for all ages is almost a medically recommended and approved stress relief. Nature – sounds of nature – and the abundant flora and fauna is an experience by itself. Every season shall offer a different range of nature sounds and colors, based on what just happen to be flowering at that particular time. My favorite seasons are Fall and Spring although Winter can be soothing with the silence and snow covered roads and mountains.
Of course we would be delighted if you add the Lilly Pad Village to your daily planner, and visit us for some very unique and satisfying gem mining; visit our charming fishing pond, where you do not require a fishing license or play some fun miniature golf on a very unique golf course. So ejoy your Blue Ridge adventures!
